Halloween activities for speech therapy
Halloween is one of my favorite themes to celebrate in speech therapy. So many crafts, books, and ideas to incorporate! I have some great ideas to share with you of what I have planned for my little speech goblins. AMAZON AFFILIATE LINKS ARE INCLUDED IF YOU WISH TO PURCHASE THE BOOKS LISTED IN THIS POST THROUGH THE LINKS PROVIDED.
1. Books:
Room On The Broom by Julia Donaldson
Big Pumpkin by Erica Silverman
We’re Off To Find The Witches House by Mr. Krieb
The Hallo-Wiener by Dav Pilkey
See my post on Language Bookmarks for Halloween Books in Speech Therapy to get FREE downloads for using in your speech room.
2. Crafts:
I love looking at Michael's or Hobby Lobby to find an inexpensive craft. Crafts are perfect for sequencing activities.

For my articulation students, the practice their word list a few times then they get to do one step of the craft. If it is a language student or group, we do the same - take a turn working on your topic then put together part of the craft. A follow up activity is to recall how we made the craft and will write the steps and draw a picture.
3. Printable Resources:
My favorite resources are my candy corn themed articulation game boards. Click below for a closer look at everything included in these engaging activities!
